Enter each monitor’s resolution from left to right. You get the size of one image that covers them all and the part of it each screen shows.

The live calculator needs JavaScript. Without it, the worked example below shows what it calculates.

Everything is calculated in your browser. Nothing you type is sent or saved.

How to use it

  1. Choose how many screens you have and enter each resolution, left to right, as set in your display settings.
  2. Pick the alignment that matches how the screens are arranged there (top, center or bottom edges in line).
  3. Use the canvas size for one image, or cut it into the parts listed for each screen.

Example

A 2560 × 1440 screen next to a 1920 × 1080 screen, centered, needs a 4480 × 1440 px canvas. The smaller screen shows the part from 180 px down.

Good to know

  • The canvas counts pixels, not centimeters. Screens with different pixel densities show the same pixels at different physical sizes, so a line can look broken where the screens meet.
  • On Windows, the “Span” fit under Personalization › Background spreads one image across the screens as they are arranged in Display settings.
  • Where the system sets a wallpaper per screen, cut the canvas into the parts listed above and set each one on its own screen.
  • Only one row is calculated. Stacked or L-shaped setups are not covered.
